I am a veteran of the European motion picture industry who earned my laurels for costume design. I also wrote motion picture scripts and cooperated on eight movies, two of which were award winning. Due to my job, I was constantly involved with editors. Unfortunately, I never found the right one for me.

Sometime ago, I finally decided to get on with my longtime dream and write a family saga dealing with the very popular Elizabeth, Empress of Austria and Hungary. My grandparents had close ties to the Viennese Habsburgs, and I felt qualified to introduce the world to the real “Sissi,” as friends and family lovingly called the Empress.

My new problem was like the old one. I had to find the right editor. And then, one day, I came across Logos Word Designs, owned by Linda Nathan. In almost no time, I felt blessed with the best imaginable editor. Linda has the rare gift of understanding the writer’s thinking process, and she correctly feels where the writer wants to go with the story. She is encouraging and smoothes out the weak points without asking for depressing rewrites. When Linda edits my work, the pages light up for me and the writing comes to life, making the characters real.

It is safe to say that without her generous help and longtime experience, my dream to introduce Empress Elizabeth’s true story to the public could not become reality.
